The hours of the Euro are numbered, and the failure of the hyper-inflationary bailout policy, together with the brutal austerity policies which are destroying Greece and other countries, is a testament to the incompetence of the governments who should be responsible. Trapped within the bell jar of the monetarism, these governments are completely incapable of finding the way out the vicious circle of collapse. In actuality, the challenge to civilization to follow that tendency which is in the very nature of Mankind, to willfully strive to achieve new, higher levels of evolution, and to break through the illusory 'limits to growth', repeatedly, must now become the foundation of Political Economy. The choice to take up this challenge will determine whether or not we will be capable of finding the means to surmount the present financial crisis.
At 1:00 pm Eastern U.S. Standard Time on February 11th, 2012, Helga Zepp-LaRouche, the National Chairwoman of the Büso Party in Germany and Chairwoman of the Schiller Institute in Germany, delivered a live webcast address on the solutions to the crisis immediately at hand. Following her presentation, there was an opportunity for questions and answers.
Stephan Tolksdorf: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this international, live broadcast. My name is Stefan Tolksdorf, I'm speaking to you from Berlin, Germany. Now, we might just be days from the outbreak of new war, and this time in Syria. Syrian and also Iran are targets for destruction, regardless of whatever specifics the media would lead you to believe are happening in these nations. Now, any such war at this stage could, and would, immediately develop into a thermonuclear world war, involving the nations of Russia and also China.
Now, we will be joined tonight, live, by Helga Zepp-LaRouche to address this webcast. Mrs. Zepp-LaRouche is chairwoman of the BüSo party, the Bürgerrechtsbewegung Solidarität, the Civil Rights Solidarity party, and she is also the president of the international Schiller Institute.
Already back in November, Mrs. Zepp-LaRouche issued a forceful intervention, with her international call to action to stop World War III. This call has been translated into at least 11 languages and launched a worldwide mobilization, which has been followed by many actions and statements around the world. But as anyone with a clear mind can see, we are on the edge of a cliff, and the driver for the immediacy of war, the total disintegration of this worldwide financial system, is as present as ever. This is why Mrs. Zepp-LaRouche has decided to appear live tonight before an international audience to outline the steps to not only avert this looming war, but solve the financial and economic crisis.
And obviously, an important aspect of this webcast, is to be an international dialogue, so I ask you to send your questions during this webcast, to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will do our very best to address them as they come in.
So, without any further ado, I would like to welcome and present to you our main speaker tonight, Helga Zepp-LaRouche.
